Pin board! (Super easy & quick)

I am always on the search for ways to cut down clutter/chaos in my home, especially for those small reminder notes, & grocery lists that somehow end up on my fridge. (I am an anti-fridge clutter-ite.)
So what's a girl to do? I went to the office section of Target & picked up this 4-pack of cork tiles for under $6.00,

Then I took the 3M sticky tabs and applied them to the cork tiles, & then the inside of my cabinets.

Wha-LA! A hidden place to keep all my reminders, phone numbers, notes and inspiration. I wanted to stack two on each door, but the insides weren't flush, so I just have another one on the opposite cabinet. It works for me. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with my other 2 left over tiles?

Check out this cute grocery list my kindergartner made for us during a family council on food storage. I love his handwriting!

Inspiration for this project came from here.

Very functional...and simple!

You can cover the other two tiles in fabric to match the boys bedrooms and pin up their school art, etc.
OR give Matt a place to organize his flies.(sp?)You can cut it up and glue it in his tackle box.

I am going to do this! Love it! My fridge would make you cringe!!! LOL! As for the other cork boards: You could aways attach a ribbon on the back and hang it in your kids' room. My dd has a cork board in her room that I got at a garage sale. I painted it pink, attached a ribbon on the top of each side and now it hangs in her room. She loves putting thing in there.

Love the ideas thanks!
Did dollar store have them in packages of four for the 12x12?

Why couldn't you make a template on the inside of your cabinet doors of the top remaining uncovered space above the tiles you have already hung...then cut the cork to fit the cabinet, using your template? You'd have cork all the way to the top on the inside frame of your cabinet! You could then add an awesome ribbon across the seam where the 2 pieces of cork come together...or if the pieces butt up against each other nicely you might not have to add anything. Just a thought!
