I am linking this post to Kimbas linky party over at A Soft Place To Land When we bought our Casa here in The Land Of Enchantment a few years ago, it did not have this courtyard. Luckily I have a hubby who can fix or build anything, so he added it on last summer! I love my little courtyard/ garden and have been trying to make it my little desert oasis. We have been searching for a gate for some time, and finally found a little shop that made this custom gate for us!

Yay Gate! It looks great! And first rate! Perfect for your oasis!
p.s. I think it's called a sander, not a grinder, but I could be wrong. :)
Love you!
It is 3 and a half inch DEWALT grinder with a 0.05mm metal abrasive cutting wheel so as to scratch the wood and leave black burn marks.

It turned out gorgeous! I love the hardware and iron work with the roughed up touch. Good job hubby!
She adds so much character to the adobe wall and looks beautiful at night.
Next...a fountain in the courtyard, right? :)
I happened upon your blog a couple of weeks ago and am so fascinated with the amazing things you do! I love the gate. I love that you roughed it up some and the stain is beautiful! Love the courtyard!
