4 Dollar Lamp Re-do

I have been a busy little bee re-decorating my daughters room! Right now people (Hubby/friends) probably think I am crazy, but I have it all planned out in my little head!  Once it is all together, I just know it will look bee-you-tee-ful!!!

I found this lamp at Savers yesterday for 4 dollars.

A few coats spraypaint ~

 some pretty rosettes~

                                                                   And I am in love!!!!!!!!!
You may think I am off my rocker, but yes, this is the wall color we just painted Emmy's room!
Stay tuned for more of my craziness!:)
I am linking this project to The Shabby Nests Frugal Friday Party

The lamp looks so good painted in the glossy black. I also love the "flowers" on the shade. Very fun.

wow! the lamp is soo fun and beautiful! did you make the rosettes yourself? and what kind of spray paint did you have to use to get it to stick to the brassy/metal lamp?

WOW! That lamp looks stunning! I always see those hidious brass lamps at thrift stores and would never have thought to make it that cute. And I painted my bathroom a similar color last summer, my hubs hates it, but I love it!! Great job!

Give yourself a pat on the back!
The lamp turned out great!
The bold colors work great together, and the flowers add so much charm.
Have a great day.

Stopped by your blog for a look-see - hello! I did the same things years ago to an old brass plated floor lamp and I loved it! My hubby said "you do realize you spray painted a Stiffel?" Yeah. And now it works and looks great! Gotta love spray paint!

I absolutely love this! Where did you get the matching mirrors that are pictured throughout her room??

How exactly did you do the flowers on the shade?

LOVE it! Will you come decorate my house=D (JK) Great color scheme. I get glimpses of ideas in my head, but then off they fly. I have a hard time keeping them. Plus with my 6yo autistic son (that I homeschool), I never get to do any "fun" stuff. But before my son was born, I did a similar thing to a thrift store chandelier; it's still one of my favorite things in my house.

Sincerely,
