Kimbas linky party over at A Soft Place To Land
When we bought our Casa here in The Land Of Enchantment a few years ago, it did not have this courtyard.
Luckily I have a hubby who can fix or build anything, so he added it on last summer! I love my little courtyard/ garden and have been trying to make it my little desert oasis. We have been
searching for a gate for some time, and finally found a little shop that made this
custom gate for us!
Here is how she looked when they dropped her off.
Hubby beat her up a bit to give her some charm.
and used a grinder to give her some character.
The girls helped him stain her.
and then hubby added the hardware.
I
sn't she a beauty? Excuse our landscape (or lack there of) We live out in the middle of nowhere ya know!
Here she is lit up at night. I still
haven't found the perfect pottery to put in my niches. But I think I love her!
Lets give a cheer for my beautiful new
courtyard/garden gate !!!!!! Yea gate!
Yay Gate! It looks great! And first rate! Perfect for your oasis!
ReplyDeletep.s. I think it's called a sander, not a grinder, but I could be wrong. :)
Love you!
It is 3 and a half inch DEWALT grinder with a 0.05mm metal abrasive cutting wheel so as to scratch the wood and leave black burn marks.
