I did not delight in this taranchula we found crawling up our house yesterday, because I do not like spiders. But, I did delight in the fact that he is harmless and will eat all the other bugs lurking around our house.
My heart skipped a beat with delight when I found this chandelier at a thrift store the other day for 15 dollars! I could see her inner beauty and knew all she needed was a little makeover ! (Don't we all every once and a while?)

You chandelier is wonderful!!
that chandelier looks so great! we're moving into our new house this weekend, and EVERYTHING is brass, so we'll be doing the same treatment! Any tips so that it doesn't turn out all drippy/streaky?
WOW! You have right to be delightful w/ your goodies! lol And that there spider! UGH! It looks like the one that greeted me when we bought our house, but he was indoors where he did'nt belong!! So ummmm, well....... yeah I killed the bad boy!! And I swear I had the creeps for days! lol Anyhow,Have a "BLESSED" week! Natalie,
I love all the pretty black things you've shown us, except the spider, ech!

I am so thrilled that you copied my moss sphere. Looks fabulous! In fact, I love the whole arrangement you have on top of the cabinets. Maybe I'll have to copy. ;)
I am jealous of your gorgeous chandelier! I've been searching for one but haven't had any luck yet.
The chandelier is beautiful. You are so crafty. I never see the potential in things until someone points it out to me!
Love the chandy HATE the spider!! It just makes my skin crawl looking at the picture! I hate bugs as well and freak if they even get close to coming inside. Love your paper towel holder as well! I bought one last year at HobLob but it stands up on the counter instead so I could be sure to take it with me when we move!
Sari you are so cute and creative!
What brand name is the Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint you used? And where did you find it?
I had a bathtub/chandelier story I shared here: http://hopestudios.blogspot.com/2009/07/chandelier-lovin-or-my-bathroom-diy.html
You might still be able to pull it off! Isn't that spray paint magic? I just tried the "hammered" bronze and it's so cool!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Me again! I'm loving this chandelier! Would you mind if I posted it on my blog? (with credit to you, of course!)
